Natal chart interpretation is one of the oldest branches of astrology, dating back to the 5th century BCE in Mesopotamia. One of the basic tenents of astrology is that anything born or done at a moment in time shares the quality of that moment. Natal astrology takes this principle and applies it to the event of the birth of an individual under the premise that the configuration of the planets at the moment of a person's birth have something significant to say about the nature and course of their life.

My Technique

In my work I utilize a variety of ancient and modern techniques when delineating a natal chart. The basis of my approach is rooted in the Hellenistic astrological tradition, but I also draw on my background in modern astrology regularly, for example with the inclusion of the outer planets. My main focus and interest is on timing and prediction, and although I do incorporate some psychological information into my consultations, I am not trained or certified in psychology and do not purport to offer psychological advice as the main emphasis of my consultations.

I employ a number of Hellenistic and modern timing techniques and general delineation methods in order to provide information about the past, present and future circumstances of the native. The initial approach is usually a general delineation of certain features of the natal chart and general themes in the life of the native, and then later these different areas of the chart are brought together through the application of various timing techniques, such as the Hellenistic time-lord systems, as well as the more modern approaches such as transits and progressions.

The purpose of delineating a birth chart is to gain a greater understanding of the life direction of the native, their strengths and weaknesses, and the time periods that are likely to be more problematic or fruitful for certain types of activity throughout the course of their life. This information enables a person to have a more complete understanding of the inner workings of their life and the underlying patterns of fate that are built into it, and thus to engage life with a greater sense of purpose and meaning.

Consultation Mediums

In order to serve a diverse client base I utilize a number of different mediums through which to conduct consultations, and each client has a choice of choosing the one that best suits them. Prior to the consultation I will send you an email that contains any relevant charts and written notes that are pertinent to the consultation. The price for a natal consultation is $100 USD. Here is a list of some of the different consultation mediums:

• By Phone - Telephone consultations are the preferred medium when delineating a natal chart. Consultations over the phone last generally last for about an hour and a half, although this varies depending on how long it takes us to address all issues that you want to discuss about your chart. Prior to the consultation you will be emailed a copy of the chart as well as any notes that I have on it in PDF format. Telephone consultations are usually recorded, and after the consultation is over I will send you an email with the consultation recording in either MP3 or WMV format.
  
  Contact me through the email address listed on the contact page to check for availability or to schedule an appointment. For those outside of the U.S. where the costs associated with making a long-distance call are prohibitive, other means of holding a phone consultation are available, such as through internet voice chat programs such as Skype. • Instant Messenger - Natal consultations may also be done through an instant messenger program, usually at a scheduled date and time, unless you catch me online and I am free to do it then. Consultation notes and relevant charts will be emailed to you prior to the consultation. Consultations held through an instant messenger program usually last for approximately an hour and a half to two hours, since it usually takes a bit longer to type than it does to talk over the phone. After the consultation is over you will be emailed a PDF file with a log of the consultation discussion. I currently have the following instant messenger serives available for this option: AIM, ICQ, MSN, Yahoo Messenger, and Google Talk. If you have a different IM program that you would like to use that is not on this list then just let me know.


• In Person - Consultations may be done in person if you happen to live in Denver, or if you book a consultation with me ahead of time while I am travelling. Please see my bio page for my current travel schedule and a list of my upcoming appearances. Consultations in person usually last for about an hour and a half, and any consultation notes and charts will be emailed to you in PDF form prior to the consultation.


• Written Report - For those who would rather have the delineation of their natal chart written out without having to schedule a consultation then written reports are available. These reports sometimes take a bit longer to schedule and complete than the other consultation mediums, depending on my schedule, although sometimes they only take a day or two to complete. I ask that you specify some particular areas or concerns that you would me to focus on with regards to your life in the delineation. Once completed, the written report will be emailed to youalong with any relevant charts and handouts in PDF format.

Payment

A natal chart consultation costs $100 USD, which covers both the prep-time I take before the consultation to examine your chart and take some notes on it, as well as the actual consultation itself. If there are any specific areas, themes or time periods that you would like to focus on in the consultation then please let me know in your initial email, that way I can employ the techniques thate are most suited for those subjects while I am studying the chart in preparation for the consultation.

How Is Payment Handled?

Payment is handled through PayPal at the time that the consultation is scheduled by using one of the 'buy now' buttons located on this page. Please contact me through the email address listed on the contact page in order to confirm the consultation and to set up an appointment before paying for it through PayPal.

Paypal is an easy and secure method of transferring funds over the internet. As part of the ordering process you will be directed to the Paypal website for payment. If you do not already have an account with Paypal then you will be given the option of opening an account with them or making a secure payment using your existing credit card. Paypal is free to use and they allow you to send money from your bank account to anyone with an email address in over 40 countries.
