Astrological Consultations
There are several different applications of astrology, and determining which form would best suit your needs is the first step in setting up a consultation.
Below you will find a listing of some of the different types of astrological consultations that I offer, as well as information about how they are conducted. Natal Astrology
Natal astrology is the study of determining information about the course and nature of a person's life based on the positions of the planets at the moment that they were born. This involves the analysis of the client's birth chart or natal chart, which is set for the exact date, place and time of their birth. Consultations involving a client's birth chart are useful for determining wide-ranging information about the nature and course of their life. Relationship Analysis
Relationship analysis takes the concept of natal astrology and applies it to interpersonal relationships between two individuals, usually by comparing their birth charts to one another. The purpose of this type of analysis it to determine the nature and course of the relationship between the two individuals involved. Relationship analysis via birth chart comparison is called synastry. There are also other techniques and approaches that are employed in this analysis, such as the use of a composite chart, or the study of relevant transits and timing techniques that may be activating various parts of the chart during the relationship. Horary Astrology
Horary astrology is a more focused application of horoscopic astrology that is used to answer one specific question by casting a chart for the moment that the astrologer receives the question from a client. While natal astrology is useful for studying a native's life as a whole, horary astrology is useful for studying more specific issues, as it relies on a narrow technical framework that only seeks to answer a single important question. Electional Astrology
Electional astrology is used in order to determine an auspicious moment to begin a new venture or undertaking. It is a more proactive application of astrology that is used in order to enable a person to take a more participatory role in the unfolding of their own destiny. Electional astrology can be applied to a broad variety of ventures and undertakings, from something as simple as taking a trip, to other more serious issues such as getting married or launching a new business venture. How are consultations conducted?
The manner in which consultations are conducted depends on the type of consultation. Most are generally conducted over the phone or through Skype, although some are only done as a written report that is sent to you as a PDF file via email.
For natal and relationship analysis telephone or Skype consultations generally work the best, since they tend to last longer and this allows for some dialogue.
The results of horary and electional consultations are usually written up and emailed to the client as a PDF file, since less discussion is involved once I have completed my analysis.
For every type of consultation you will receive an email with PDF files of the charts involved and any notes that I have taken regarding your case prior to when the actual consultation or discussion takes place.
