Biographical Information About Chris Brennan
My name is Chris Brennan and I'm a practicing astrologer from Denver, Colorado. I was educated at Kepler College, where I focused on cross-cultural comparisons between the various astrological traditions. I have a special interest in the history, philosophy and transmission of astrology. I spent two years studying at Project Hindsight, which is involved in the translation and recovery of the Hellenistic tradition of astrology, and I'm currently heading up a translation project for ancient astrological texts at www.HellenisticAstrology.com. I am the current president of the Association for Young Astrologers, as well as the former Research Director of the National Council for Geocosmic Research.
The initial focus of my astrological studies for several years was in the modern western tradition of astrology, although eventually I became deeply engaged in the study of the Hellenistic, Indian and Medieval traditions. The basis of my astrological approach at this point is largely rooted in the techniques of Hellenistic astrology, although I also draw on my
background in modern astrology regularly, for example by incorporating elements such as the outer planets. While my main area of interest is in the predictive aspects of astrology, I also specialize in the study of the historical and philosophical components of the subject as well, and much of my research is directed towards these areas.
I conduct consultations using a mixture of ancient and modern techniques, with a focus on timing and prediction. If you are interested in scheduling a consultation with me then please see the list of services page on this website. I also teach online courses on astrology with students from around the world. At the moment I'm in the process of completing my first book entitled Hellenistic Astrology: The Study of Fate and Fortune.
Current Projects:
- Finishing my book.
- Working on the Hellenistic astrology translation project.
- Working with the Association for Young Astrologers in order to create some scholarshops for upcoming astrological conferences.

We meet on the second Saturday of each month, so please stop by if you life in the area. If you are an astrologer who is planning travelling through the area at some point in the future then please send me an email and we may be able to host you for an afternoon lecture.
- I recently relocated my blog from apotelesmatics.com to horoscopicastrologyblog.com, and I'm now calling it the Horoscopic Astrology Blog. I've been trying to write more frequently there, so please check it out and let me know what you think, if you are so inclined.
